Purpose of the policy

This privacy policy aims to give you information on how Kennedia HMO hereafter known as “KHMO”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, collects and processes your personal data through your use of the Mobile Application or website, including any data you may provide through this website when you use our services.

It is important that you read this privacy policy together with any other privacy policy or fair processing policy we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. KHMO is responsible for your personal data. We use your data to provide and improve the Service.       • Financial information(e.g., bank account, debit and credit card account numbers, balances, and information related to payment for healthcare services), and (as applicable) your academic enrollment status or employment details;
      • Government identification numbers (e.g., Driver’s License Number, National Voter’s Card Number, National Identification Number);
      • Benefits coverage information and Health Information (e.g., health insurance status and information related to healthcare services received from healthcare providers);
      • Geo-location and other demographic information;
    • Usage Data
      • KHMO may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, Cookies and Usage Data, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
      • We also receive information from you and others regarding premium payments and reimbursements. This information may include, among other things, your ATM card numbers, bank account numbers, and other material relating to payments to/from you;
      • We receive information about you in connection with health coverage claims from third parties providing benefits and services under your coverage, including providers of medical services and claims administrators. This information may include, among other things, medical services bills and medical record information.
      • We retain personal information only so long as required by our business practices or by applicable law

    • To enable us to provide you with the Plan you intend to purchase or have purchased and make sure we administer it correctly and efficiently.
    • To notify you about changes to our Service
    • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so

    • To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
    • To monitor the usage of our Service
    • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
